Job summary

Cynet Health seeks a Surgical Tech - CVOR CST to provide expert scrub support for complex cardiac and congenital cases in the CVOR. The role focuses on cardiac instrumentation, implants, grafts, valves, and devices, ensuring a sterile field and seamless team execution.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in acute care, CST certification, AHA BLS, and specific cardiac/cCongenital experience. This is a 13‑week contract with day shifts and call requirements to cover scheduled surgeries.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in an acute care setting preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program or CST certification.
• AHA BLS required; CST certification highly preferred.
• Cardiac and congenital heart surgical experience strongly preferred.
• Willingness to participate in alternating call.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized scrub support for complex cardiac and congenital procedures.
• Manage cardiac instrumentation, implants, grafts, valves, and devices.
• Set up and maintain sterile field; perform surgical counts and time-outs.
• Collaborate with cardiac surgeons, interventional teams, and OR staff.
• Support cardiopulmonary bypass, hybrid OR, and robotic procedures as applicable.
