Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Clearlake, California. The role requires 18 months CT experience, ARRT CT or ASRT certification, and the ability to work independently or in a team while ensuring patient safety.

You will operate CT equipment, position patients, inject contrast if needed, and assist radiologists. Shifts are 10 hours, 40 hours per week, with travel reimbursement and housing options included.

Qualifications

• Eighteen months CT tech experience in a healthcare setting.
• ARRT CT or ASRT certification is required.
• Licensure is required in most states.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

• Position patients for CT scans with immobilization as needed.
• Set controls and monitor equipment; make adjustments as necessary.
• Assist radiologist with imaging procedures, IVs and contrast administration.
• Dispense oral contrast for CT scans and label images.
• Assist radiologist with interventional CT procedures as needed.
• Evaluate CT images for quality and proper labeling; manage scheduling and clerical tasks.
