Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a contract assignment in San Leandro, CA. This 13-week travel position offers 40 hours per week, evenings shifts, and a chance to work with a top healthcare client.

Eligible candidates have 18+ months CT experience, ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification, and licensure as required by state. Travel benefits include housing allowance, weekly pay, and credentialing support.

Qualifications

Eighteen months prior experience in a health care setting as a CT Tech.
Must be ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified.
Most states require licensure.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Position patients for CT scans and ensure immobilization and protection as needed.
Set controls and monitor equipment, making adjustments as necessary.
Assist radiologist with imaging procedures, IVs, and contrast administration as applicable.
Dispense oral contrast for CT scans.
Assist radiologist with interventional CT procedures.
Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and label accordingly.
Schedule patients and assist with some clerical tasks.
Charge procedures and supplies to patient records.
