Job summary

American Traveler, LLC is seeking a CT Technologist for a weekend diagnostic imaging role in Idaho. The role requires ARRT certification and current BLS, with at least 2 years CT or X-Ray experience and an active state license if applicable.

Qualifications

• ARRT and BLS certifications required or eligible
• Graduate from accredited Radiologic Technology program
• At least one advanced modality ARRT license
• 2+ years CT or X-Ray experience preferred
• Venipuncture experience preferred
• State license active if applicable

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and X-Ray examinations according to protocol and age-specific needs
• Interact with patients to obtain medical history and explain procedures
• Review patient charts for implants, contraindications, and allergies
• Coordinate scan protocols with Radiologist and support other technologists
• Transfer, position, and immobilize patients safely
• Maintain sterile technique and safety standards
• No local candidates; 120 mile radius rule applies
• Weekend 4x10 hour shifts (Fri-Sun) with 40 hours guaranteed

Job description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a weekend diagnostic imaging role requiring ARRT certification and current BLS.

Requirements

• Current BLS certification required upon hire
• ARRT certification required or eligible upon hire
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
• At least one advanced modality license with ARRT
• 2+ years experience in CT or X-Ray preferred
• Venipuncture experience preferred
• State license required if applicable, must be currently active

Responsibilities

• Diagnostic Imaging department performing CT and X-Ray examinations
• Patient population ranges from neonatal to geriatric age groups
• 4x10 hour shifts, Friday through Sunday, 40 hours guaranteed per week
• Up to 36 hours of call off per 13 week assignment
• Perform CT and X-Ray procedures according to protocol and age-specific needs, including patient preparation
• Interact with patients to obtain medical history and explain procedures to ensure optimal imaging results
• Review patient charts for missed clinical information and screen for implants, allergies, and other contraindications
• Coordinate scan protocols with Radiologist and serve as a clinical and technical resource for other technologists
• Transfer, position, and immobilize patients for exams in accordance with safety standards
• Practice sterile technique to prevent cross-contamination
• No local candidates considered, 120 mile radius rule applies
