Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a weekend day shift assignment in Alabama. The role requires ARRT/CT licensure and BLS certification, and includes 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Friday through Sunday.

You will perform CT scans with and without contrast, care for patients across all ages, and assist with patient discharge while maintaining high standards of safety and stock management.

• Current BLS via AHA required
• Fit test required

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans for diagnostic purposes
• Work weekend 3x12 hour shifts (Fri-Sun, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM)

• Care for patients across all ages from infant to geriatric
• Maintain stock of supplies and ensure safety and discharge procedures

Responsibilities

• Clinic setting performing CT scans for diagnostic purposes
• Weekend schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 3x12 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Performs CT scans with and without contrast following established guidelines
• Cares for patients across all age groups including infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations
• Responsible for maintaining high standards of patient care during CT procedures and assisting with patient discharge
• Orders and maintains neat, organized stock of supplies
• Demonstrates knowledge of safety measures, psychosocial and physical growth/development concepts, medication administration, and pain management appropriate to patient age
• Prior permanent employees of the facility are not eligible for this travel position
• Requested time off must not exceed 7 days
• Local candidates considered within a 60-mile radius
