American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift travel assignment in Florida. ARRT CT certification and FL Rad Tech license (if applicable) are required, with AHCA clearance for Florida placements.

The role covers CT scanning of multiple regions, plus basic radiographic duties, on a 7 on/7 off schedule from 7pm to 7am; travel housing and licensure reimbursements are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of CT/Radiology experience.
• ARRT CT certification and ARRT registration.
• FL Rad Tech license if applicable; AHCA clearance required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Graduate of an AMA accredited school.
• Active, unexpired certifications for at least 30 days from start.
• No gaps in work history of 90 days in the past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• CT scanning of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, and extremities, including biopsies.
• Perform basic radiography, fluoroscopy, portable radiography, C-arm and OR imaging.
• Night shift 7p–7a on 7 on/7 off rotation, Thursday–Wednesday.
• Overtime after 48 hours.
• Follow departmental protocols under radiologist direction.
• Maintain CT system processing and cross‑sectional anatomy knowledge.

• ARRT CT certification required
• FL Rad Tech license required if applicable
• BLS certification required
• Graduate of an accredited AMA school
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
• Must have active, unexpired certifications for at least 30 days from start of assignment
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Responsibilities

• CT Scanner department providing diagnostic services to inpatients and outpatients
• Performs CT scanning of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures
• Also performs basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services
• Night shift schedule from 7p-7a on a 7 on/7 off rotation, Thursday-Wednesday
• Overtime applies after 48 hours
• Experience with Toshiba/Canon Aquilion CT equipment preferred but not required
• Works under the direction of a Radiologist following departmental protocols
• Responsible for knowledge of CT system processing, surgical/sterile procedures, contrast and non-contrast studies, and cross-sectional anatomy
• AHCA clearance required for all Florida placements
• Candidates must secure housing prior to accepting the assignment
• Does not accept local candidates within a 50-mile radius
• Returning travelers who worked at this facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years will not be considered
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week
