Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with CT and general X-ray experience to provide imaging services in a hospital radiology department.

The role requires ARRT radiography certification, BLS, and 1 year CT experience. Shifts include days, evenings, and nights with on-call duties; on-site work only. Vaccination is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiography program.
• ARRT certified in Radiography; ARRT (CT) preferred.
• BLS certification required (AHA or Red Cross).
• State licensure required if applicable.
• 1 year of CT experience required.
• Ability to start IVs.
• Ability to work independently with strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work varied shifts including days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends, and respond to on-call pager.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scanning and general X-ray imaging within a hospital radiology department.
• Evening shift, Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM.
• Every 4th weekend required.
• On-call required one night per week and during the scheduled weekend.
• Uses Epic for charting.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images meeting departmental standards for physician interpretation.
• Maintain competency across a variety of imaging equipment and technology.
• Follow proper safety protocols for self, staff, and patients.
• Foster teamwork through effective communication.
• Maintain flexibility to work across various locations, shift times, and lengths.
• On-site position with no teleworking option.
• COVID vaccination and booster required.
