American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for an acute care night shift, requiring 2+ years of radiology experience and ARRT(CT) certification. The role involves performing CT exams in NICU, CCU, ED and other departments, with a Friday-Sunday night schedule and on-call rotation.

The candidate must hold ARRT CT and BLS, have an active license if required, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds in a high-acuity hospital environment. CAHEA-accredited program graduate preferred.

Qualificações

• Active state license required if applicable.
• Minimum 2 years of radiology experience as a registered technologist.
• ARRT(R) and ARRT(CT) certifications required.
• BLS certification required.
• Graduate of a CAHEA-accredited Radiology program or equivalent.
• Trauma center CT experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Performs CT exams for NICU, CCU, ED and other hospital departments as requested by medical staff.
• Night shift schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
• Participates in call rotation as scheduled or needed.
• Works varied shifts in a busy, high-acuity environment.
• Assists radiologists and medical staff during exams and procedures.
• Completes documentation for proper interpretation, reporting, archiving, and retrieval of exams.
• Participates in quality indicator monitoring and improvement initiatives.
• Trains and supports peer technologists.
• Works independently in a highly complex, acute care environment.

• Ability to lift and support up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for 8+ hours daily

• May involve exposure to bloodborne pathogens, radiation, chemicals, and infectious diseases
• Facility reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract due to low census or unforeseen circumstances
• Candidates must live at least 90 miles from the facility to be considered
