Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring a CT/X-Ray Technologist for a night shift in Keene, NH. This travel assignment requires dual proficiency in CT and X-ray and offers 40 hours per week with guaranteed shifts across weekends and holidays.

You must have 2+ years in CT and 2+ years in X-ray in hospital settings, ARRT and BLS, and be prepared for travel with housing and licensure support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years current CT Technologist experience in a hospital setting required
• Minimum 2 years current X-Ray Technologist experience in a hospital setting required
• High proficiency in both CT and X-Ray modalities required
• Must be highly experienced with Fluoroscopy, Digital Radiography, Portables, and OR C-arm
• Active BLS certification required
• Active ARRT certification required
• New Hampshire Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy License required if applicable
• Must have own vehicle for this assignment

Responsibilities

• Radiology department performing both CT and X-Ray procedures
• Patient population includes all age groups
• Night shift schedule: Saturday/Sunday/Monday/Tuesday 8:30 PM-7 AM, 40 hours guaranteed
• Weekend shifts required as part of rotation
• Participation in holiday rotation required
• Position patients on examining table and adjust immobilization devices to obtain optimum imaging views as directed by physician
• Capable of completing all routine diagnostic procedures
• Move and position radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment and adjust exposure factors such as time and distance
• Operate film processing equipment
• Operate mobile radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment in OR, ER, or at bedside
• Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure to patients and staff
• Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills required
• Basic computer skills required
• Dress code includes hospital-provided blue scrubs or business casual with lab coat, closed-toe shoes, hair pulled back if longer than shoulder length, and no dangling earrings
• Previous travel healthcare experience preferred, but first-time travelers may be considered
• Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered for this assignment
• Up to 5 days of requested time off accepted during the assignment
