Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience to perform CT and X-ray exams independently on the night shift in California. The role requires ARRT CT certification, RT license, BLS, and an Associate's Degree in radiologic technology, with four 10-hour night shifts (Wed–Sat, 8:30 PM–7:00 AM).

You will work in acute care radiology, prepare contrast agents, and ensure imaging procedures meet experience level. Local candidates are welcome with rates matching travel pay.

Qualifications

• Current ARRT CT certification is required.
• ARRT certification is required.
• ARRT-CT certification is required.
• RT license in state of practice is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Minimum 2 years of radiology experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and X-ray examinations independently in acute care radiology.
• Night shift, 4x10 hours, Wednesday through Saturday, 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Work across CT and X-ray modalities with the patient in the imaging department.
• Prepare contrast agents and ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Test defibrillator and maintain crash cart readiness as needed.
• Perform mobile imaging examinations when required.
• No on-call requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience required
• Associate's Degree in radiologic technology required
• Current BLS certification required
• Radiologic Tech (RT) license in state of practice required (license required if applicable)
• ARRT certification required
• ARRT-CT certification required
• Must be able to safely transport and transfer patients between gurneys and wheelchairs
• Must be able to prepare contrast agents for imaging procedures

Responsibilities

• Acute care radiology/diagnostic imaging department
• Night shift, 4x10 hours, Wednesday through Saturday, 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Responsible for performing both CT and X-ray examinations
• No call requirements
• Must be able to work independently across both modalities
• Perform radiographic and computed tomography examinations consistent with experience level
• Test defibrillator and check integrity of crash cart as needed
• Perform mobile imaging examinations as necessary
• Accepts local candidates with rates matching travel pay
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will not be considered
• Candidates with a prior adverse licensure action will not be considered
