Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with ARRT CT/R certification and at least 1 year of CT experience to provide independent CT and X-ray coverage in a community hospital setting.

The role includes 2x12-hour day shifts, weekend coverage as needed, no on-call requirement, and travel with housing and licensure reimbursements. Proficiency in CTA and contrast administration is required.

Qualifications

• ARRT CT, ARRT R, and BLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of CT experience required, 2+ years preferred
• IV competency and experience with CTA required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Proficient in 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and ROI measurement
• Imaging of abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine/musculoskeletal, and chest skill set
• Experience with contrast media preparation/administration and peripheral IV starts
• Knowledge of radiation safety and isolation precautions/PPE
• License required if applicable

Responsibilities

• Support adult acute care, outpatient, ED and ICU patients in a community hospital setting
• 2x12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM, including weekends
• Weekend/holiday coverage only if holiday falls on weekend
• No call requirements
• Uses Altera EMR and McKesson/Change PACS systems
• Performs portable X-ray and X-ray as per facility protocols
• Independently cover CT and X-ray when staffing is limited
• Performs CTA and vascular CTA studies
• Travelers are expected to float unless otherwise stated
• Candidates requiring fit testing must be clean-shaven

• Flu vaccine exemptions are not accepted
• Local candidates and first-time travelers accepted at the same rate
• Travelers are expected to float unless otherwise stated
• Candidates requiring fit testing must be clean-shaven
