Qualifications

• Active state license required if applicable.
• ARRT registration in Radiology (R) including Computed Tomography (CT) required.
• Current BLS certification required (or must obtain within 90 days of hire).
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program required.
• 2 years of prior CT Technologist experience preferred.
• Cross-training in MRI, DEXA, or Mammography preferred.
• Experience with PACS and RIS/HIS systems preferred.
• Proficiency in IV placement and contrast administration required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostic imaging department performing CT and X-ray procedures.
• Assists radiologist with routine and interventional CT procedures.
• Performs X-ray and fluoroscopy procedures including C-arm and OR work.
• 13-week assignment on night shift.
• 36 guaranteed hours per week.
• May be required to assist in other modalities, adjust schedules, or take call, overtime, or holiday shifts as needed.
• Responsible for patient positioning, image acquisition, and technical quality evaluation for CT scans.
• Practices radiation safety in accordance with ALARA standards.
• Maintains accurate patient records including charging procedures and supplies.
• May assist, train, or cross-train other imaging staff members.
• Responsible for ordering, stocking, and maintaining supply inventory.
• Must complete an Employee Health meeting prior to starting employment.
