Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 1+ year of experience and ARRT CT certification for a night shift assignment covering ED and inpatient CT needs.
Details
- Hospital-based CT Tech position
- Serves ED patients and inpatients with no scheduled outpatients during the shift
- Night shift, 3x12 hours, weekends Friday-Sunday, 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
- Technologist works alone after midnight
- May be required to float within the hospital based on patient care needs
- Uses EPIC charting system
- Utilizes GE and Siemens equipment with PACS
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in CT required
- ARRT CT certification required
- BLS certification required
- Active WA Radiological Technologist license required in hand at time of consideration, if applicable
- EPIC charting experience required
- Experience with abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine, musculoskeletal, and chest CT imaging with and without contrast
- Experience with 3D rendering including MIP, surface shaded displays, and volume rendering
- Skilled in image display and post-processing
- Experience with isolation precautions/PPE, contrast media preparation and administration, and peripheral IV starts
- First-time travelers considered with 1 year of hospital experience
Additional Information
- Performs CT imaging across a range of studies including trauma head, carotid, sinuses, cervical/lumbar/thoracic spine, musculoskeletal trauma, and vascular chest imaging such as PE studies, CTA, and aorta
- Works in a Level I and Level II Trauma Center environment
- Maximum of 5 days RTO permitted per assignment, must be disclosed at time of consideration
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate as non-local candidates
- Former staff must be separated from the facility/system for at least 1 year before being eligible for rehire as a traveler
- Required orientation modules completed and signed off by facility managers, averaging 8-12 hours
