Description

American Traveler is hiring a night-shift CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment requiring ARRT or NMTCB certification and BLS.

Details

• Imaging/CT Scan department in a hospital setting
• Night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 3 days per week at 12 hours
• Weekend rotation required
• On-call requirement
• Floating to other campuses/locations as needed
• Uses EPIC EMR system

Requirements

• ARRT certification in Radiography (R), or ARRT/NMTCB certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology, or ARRT/NMTCB certification in Computed Tomography (CT required upon hire in New Mexico)
• State licensure required; in New Mexico, CT or FUS license by MIRTP NMED - license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification via AHA
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent
• 1 year of CT experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred
• Basic computer experience required

Additional Information

• Perform a wide variety of routine and advanced CT imaging procedures while supporting patient flow and other imaging technologists
• Troubleshoot basic equipment issues, participate in QA, and resolve image processing or archiving issues
• Ensure completed exams are properly scanned and stored in PACS, and follow PACS downtime procedures as a Superuser
• Maintain imaging competencies and participate in ongoing education and safety training
• Demonstrate flexibility to work other shifts or campuses as needed
• Adhere to CHRISTUS Health core values and departmental policies regarding professionalism, confidentiality, and patient care
• Returning employees who previously worked at any CHRISTUS facility must have a 6-month separation period before being eligible for a travel assignment
• 50-mile radius rule applies for local candidate eligibility
