American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Carlsbad, New Mexico. The role requires ARRT CT certification, 2+ years of CT and X-ray experience, and AMA-accredited education.

You will work 3x12 hour night shifts (6:30 PM–7:00 AM), 36 hours per week, with call requirements and no floating. Experience with Canon Prime SP80, Toshiba Aquilion, and EMR Medhost preferred.

• Graduate of AMA-accredited program and ARRT registration.
• Licensed general radiographer with NM license if applicable.

• Perform basic radiography, fluoroscopy, portable radiographs, C-arm procedures, OR imaging.

Description

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT CT certification for a 13-week travel assignment.

Details

• Works in the CT Scanner department providing diagnostic CT exams for inpatients and outpatients
• Performs CT of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures
• Also performs basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services
• Uses Canon Prime SP80 and Toshiba Aquilion CT systems, Carestream and GE x-ray and portable units, and Philips and GE C-arms
• EMR system used is Medhost
• Night shift schedule from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, working Sun, Mon, Tues and every other Sat
• Call required 4 days per month
• No floating required

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• ARRT CT certification required
• CT and X-ray experience required
• Graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with ARRT
• Licensed by the state as a general radiographer
• NM license required if applicable
• Active, unexpired certifications required with none expiring within first 30 days of start

Additional Information

• Provides timely, accurate diagnostic CT examinations under departmental protocols and physician direction
• Demonstrates proficiency in routine diagnostic CT scanning with and without contrast media and knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy
• Any scrub color accepted
• Does not accept local candidates within a 50-mile radius
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week
• Not eligible if previously worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
