Description

American Traveler is hiring a weekend nights CT Scan Technologist with 2+ years of experience and required NM state licensure for inpatient and outpatient coverage.

Details

• Inpatient and outpatient CT scanning department
• Weekend-only schedule (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) on nights, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Rotating call required
• 4x10 schedules may be accommodated, though 5x8 is preferred
• No floating required
• EMR/PACS system used is Cerner Change Healthcare
• Performs CT exams and X-ray procedures including head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
• General and OB imaging experience required
• BLS certification required
• NM state license required if applicable
• ARRT registration required
• Graduate of an accredited AMA radiologic technology program
• Proficiency in basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiography, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging
• Knowledge of CT system processing, surgical/sterile procedures, contrast media studies, and cross-sectional anatomy

Additional Information

• Perform diagnostic CT and X-ray procedures under direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Maximum RTO of 1 week per contract
• Does not accept local candidates within a 50-mile radius
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
• Candidates with employment gaps of 90+ days in the past 12 months will not be considered
• Previous CHS perm staff are not eligible if employed within the last 2 years
