Job summary

TotalMed Allied in Toms River, NJ is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of CT experience and ARRT (CT) registration, with BLS and any required state licensing.

The CT Tech will operate CT equipment, prepare patients, administer contrast as needed, ensure image quality, and maintain records. Travel role offers 40 hours/week and a 8-hour day shift.

Qualifications

• 1 year of CT experience required.
• BLS certification and ARRT CT registration.
• State licensing as required.
• Ability to stand, walk and position patients for scans.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology.

Responsibilities

• Identify patients, review requests and explain procedures; provide reassurance.
• Interpret physician instructions and position patients for scans.
• Capture diagnostic CT images with CT equipment.
• Administer radiocontrast agents when needed.
• Evaluate image quality and suitability for interpretation.
• Maintain patient records and use the PACS system.
