Job summary

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Hackensack, New Jersey. The role offers 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, and a competitive weekly pay range with opportunities for extension.

Requirements include an accredited radiologic technology degree, ARRT certification, state license if applicable, and 1–2 years of radiologic experience with CT imaging. BLS required; ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current ARRT certification in Radiography; ARRT (CT) certification preferred.
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols.

Responsibilities

• Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients.
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices.
• Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality.
