Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in New Jersey. The role involves 10-hour night shifts, 40 hours per week, and duties spanning patient positioning, image acquisition, contrast administration, and collaboration with radiologists.

Requirements include 18 months of CT Tech experience, ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification, and licensure where required. Benefits include weekly pay, housing options, health insurance, and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• 18 months of CT Tech experience in a healthcare setting.
• ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification is required; licensure may be required by state.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Position patients for CT scans and ensure immobilization for image quality.
• Set controls, monitor equipment, and adjust as needed for safety and quality.
• Assist radiologists with imaging, IV placement, and contrast administration when applicable.
• Prepare and dispense oral contrast for CT procedures.
• Assist with interventional CT procedures as needed.
• Evaluate CT images for quality and label correctly for documentation.
• Schedule patients and perform basic clerical tasks as required.
• Load and operate power injections for contrast media administration.
• Deliver high-quality, cost-effective patient care with professionalism.
