Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in New York, NY. The role offers 40 hours per week, with days and nights shifts on an 8-hour schedule. Travel employment provides professional growth and patient care experience at a partnering hospital.

Responsibilities include imaging with CT equipment, patient safety, and image quality evaluation. Requires ARRT certification and a Radiologic Technology degree; BLS is required, ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology is required.
• ARRT certification in Radiography (R) is required; CT certification preferred.
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable).
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• 1–2 years radiologic technologist experience; CT imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Acquire diagnostic CT images using CT equipment.
• Sterilize radiologic equipment and ensure patient safety.
• Explain scanning procedures and address patient questions.
• Ensure radiation safety and protect patients during procedures.
• Evaluate CT scans for image quality and accuracy.

Education

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program

ARRT certification in Radiography (R)

ARRT CT certification

Active state radiologic technologist license

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

ACLS certification
