Job summary

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a contract assignment in Hackensack, New Jersey. You will work 40 hours per week on a 14-week contract with NOC shifts, performing CT imaging and related duties.

Ideal candidates hold ARRT certification, ARRT CT preferred, BLS, and 1–2 years radiologic technologist experience. Travel opportunities include a comprehensive benefits package and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) certification preferred.
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols.

Responsibilities

• Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure patient safety.
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including radiation protection practices.
• Evaluating CT scans for good technical quality.
