Supplemental Health Care is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel assignment in New York, NY. This 13-week contract offers 40 hours per week with AM shifts and day/night rotation. Travel position emphasizes CT imaging, patient safety, and professional growth within a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Current ARRT certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) certification preferred
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable)
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred
• 1–2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols

Responsibilities

• Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices
• Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality
