Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing seeks a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment. The role involves 36 hours weekly with 12-hour evening shifts, supporting a high-volume imaging department. Must have 18+ months of CT experience and ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification, with state licensure as required.

Qualifications

• At least 18 months experience as a CT technologist in a health care setting.
• Certification required: ARRT CT or ASRT.
• Licensure required in most states.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

• Position patients for CT scans and ensure immobilization and safety.
• Set and monitor CT controls and equipment as needed.
• Assist radiologist with imaging procedures and injections when applicable.
• Dispense oral contrast for CT scans.
• Assist with interventional CT procedures as needed.
• Evaluate CT images for technical quality and proper labeling.
• Schedule procedures and perform basic clerical tasks.
• Record procedures and supplies to patient records.
• Operate power injections for contrast media administration.
• Deliver professional, high-quality patient care.
• Maintain a safe, patient-focused environment with emphasis on safety initiatives.
