Job summary

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Boston, MA. The position involves 36 hours per week with 12-hour days on an AM shift, for a 13-week contract with potential extension.

Requirements include ARRT certification (Radiography, CT preferred), an active state license (if applicable), BLS (ACLS preferred), and 1–2 years CT experience. Compelling imaging duties and a full benefits package accompany this travel opportunity.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current ARRT certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) certification preferred.
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols.

Responsibilities

• Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure patient safety.
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients.
• Ensuring patient safety and comfort, including radiation protection practices.
• Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality.
