Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a Travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Memphis, Tennessee. This role requires 36 hours per week, with 12-hour day shifts, and offers travel compensation and housing support.

The ideal candidate has 18 months CT experience, ARRT or ASRT CT certification, and licensure as required by states. Join a team dedicated to quality imaging and patient care through a reputable national staffing provider.

Qualifications

• Eighteen months prior experience in a health care setting as a CT Tech.
• Must be ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified.
• Most states require licensure.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary.
• Setting controls, monitoring equipment and patient, making adjustments as necessary.
• Assist radiologist with imaging procedures, starting IVs, and injecting contrast, if applicable.
• Dispense oral contrast to patients for CT scans.
• Assist radiologist with interventional CT procedures.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and label properly.
• Schedule patients for procedures and assist with some clerical functions.
• Charge procedures and supplies to patient records.
• Load and operate power injections for contrast media administration.
• Deliver quality, cost effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintain a safe, patient-focused environment and promote safety initiatives.
