MedPro Healthcare Staffing in Richmond, VA is seeking a Travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment beginning 10/12/2026. The ideal candidate has 18+ months of CT experience, ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification, and state licensure where required.

Daily duties include positioning patients, operating CT equipment, assisting radiologists, injecting contrast when needed, and ensuring high-quality imaging while maintaining patient safety.

Qualifications

• Eighteen months prior experience in a health care setting as a CT Tech.
• ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified.
• Most states require licensure.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment.
• Set controls and monitor equipment and patient, making adjustments.
• Assist radiologist with imaging procedures, IVs and contrast administration.
• Dispense oral contrast for CT scans.
• Assist radiologist with interventional CT procedures.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and label images.
• Schedule patients for procedures and assist with clerical tasks.
• Charge procedures and supplies to patient records.
• Operate power injections for contrast media.
• Deliver high-quality, cost-effective patient care.
• Maintain a safe, patient-focused environment.
