Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions in Tucson, AZ seeks a CT Scan Tech for night shifts. ARRT-certified in XR/CT, AZ-licensed radiographer, and BLS required, with AMA-accredited radiology training.

You will perform diagnostic CT and radiographic procedures under Radiologist supervision and department protocols. Responsibilities include CT scanning of head/brain, neck, chest, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and fluoroscopy with cross-sectional anatomy knowledge.

Qualifications

• ARRT XR/CT certification required.
• AZ Radiologic Technologist and CT Technologist license required.
• AMA-accredited radiology program completed.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographs, C-arm and OR imaging.
• Proficient in CT scanning including head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities and biopsy/drainage procedures.
• Follow departmental protocols; manage contrast studies and cross-sectional anatomy.

Job description

Position:CHS Travel: CT Scan Tech / Radiology NIGHTS

Position Information:

The CT Technologist is a graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT). The CT Technologist is licensed by the state as a general radiographer and is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the performance of basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services. The CT Technologist demonstrates proficiency at routine diagnostic CT Scanning procedures including but not limited to CT of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis extremities and biopsy/drainage procedures. Responsibilities also include: knowledge of processing of CT system, surgical/sterile procedure, studies with or without contrast media and cross sectional anatomy.

Shift: NIGHTS - Wed 1830 - 0300; Thurs & Fri 1830 - 0500; Sat 1830 - 0700

Will not be required to take call.

Required:ARRT Certification for XR & CT, BLS, AZ License as both Rad Tech and CT Tech

Equipment used:GE 64 slice scanner and GE X-Ray, portable and C-arms.
