Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a CT Technologist for a night-shift travel assignment in Tucson, AZ. The ideal candidate is ARRT-certified in XR and CT, licensed as a general radiographer and CT tech, and will perform CT and radiographic procedures under a Radiologist's direction.
Responsibilities include CT scanning of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis and related procedures with attention to sterile technique and contrast studies.
The CT Technologist is a graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT). The CT Technologist is licensed by the state as a general radiographer and is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the performance of basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services. The CT Technologist demonstrates proficiency at routine diagnostic CT Scanning procedures including but not limited to CT of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis extremities and biopsy/drainage procedures. Responsibilities also include: knowledge of processing of CT system, surgical/sterile procedure, studies with or without contrast media and cross sectional anatomy.

Shift: NIGHTS - Wed 1830 - 0300; Thurs & Fri 1830 - 0500; Sat 1830 - 0700
The traveler will not be required to take call.
Required:ARRT Certification for XR & CT, BLS, AZ License as both Rad Tech and CT Tech
Equipment used:GE 64 slice scanner and GE X-Ray, portable and C-arms.
