Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a CT Scan Technologist to provide timely diagnostic radiology services under Radiologist supervision. The role includes CT procedures, fluoroscopy, OR imaging, and cross-sectional anatomy, with ARRT registration and AZ radiography license required.

The position is night shift (3x12s) Sun/Mon/Tues, offering 36 hours guaranteed. BLS certification is required, and Cerner experience is preferred for this travel assignment in Arizona.

Qualifications

• ARRT registration and AZ state radiography license required.
• BLS certification required.
• Night shift experience and ability to perform CT procedures with/without contrast.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiography, C-arm and OR imaging.
• Conduct routine diagnostic CT scanning of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis and extremities.
• Follow departmental protocols and maintain CT system quality and sterile technique.

Position:CHS Travel: CT Scan Tech / Radiology

Position Information: The CT Technologist is a graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT). The CT Technologist is licensed by the state as a general radiographer and is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the performance of basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services. The CT Technologist demonstrates proficiency at routine diagnostic CT Scanning procedures including but not limited to CT of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis extremities and biopsy/drainage procedures. Responsibilities also include: knowledge of processing of CT system, surgical/sterile procedure, studies with or without contrast media and cross sectional anatomy.
