Job summary

Trinity Health’s FirstChoice CT Tech program seeks a part-time CT Technologist for Saint Alphonsus - Baker City, OR. You will fill short- and long-term assignments across locations, with flexible scheduling and travel options, while maintaining high-quality imaging and patient care.

The role requires ARRT CT certification, Oregon permit, and BLS; 18 months CT experience is preferred. The position offers a competitive weekly rate and diverse practice settings within Trinity Health’s system.

Responsibilities

• Review Physician Orders and reason for exam; prepare patient and position for CT imaging.
• Collaborate with CT leadership and Radiologist to obtain diagnostic images following department protocols.
• Operate diagnostic imaging equipment to acquire designated body parts with ALARA principles.
• Coordinate with FirstChoice team and unit staff to deliver evidence-based care.

What you will Do

• FirstChoice CT Techs are utilized to fill short and long-term assignments throughout the health system, and we need you to be a part of this innovative program!

Responsibilities

• The CT Technologist is responsible for reviewing the Physician Order and reason for exam , preparing the patient, positioning, and performing CT imaging of patients.
• The CT Technologist works closely with CT leadership and the Radiologist to produce the most diagnostic images possible in accordance with the department protocols.
• Operates diagnostic imaging equipment to obtain images of the designated body portions for interpretation by physicians, with attention to As Low As Reasonably Achievable (ALARA) techniques.
• Collaborate with members of assigned unit as well as FirstChoice colleagues to deliver evidenced based care within a healing culture for patients as well as families.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher required.
• Eighteen (18) months of CT experience required .
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program and registered as a CT by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) .
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification . (Note: American Heart Association certifications only accepted.)
• Valid State Of Oregon permit - to - practice required.
• Willingness to float throughout the hospital and/or throughout multiple hospital locations.
• Cannot hold a concurrent position at a Trinity Health facility.
