Trinity Health FirstChoice is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Baker City, Oregon. The role involves 10-hour days, 4 days per week, with a $3,000 gross weekly rate and 13 weeks duration.

This position offers flexible scheduling and the chance to travel within the FirstChoice network. The CT Technologist will review orders, position patients, and perform CT imaging in accordance with department protocols, ensuring ALARA practices while collaborating with radiology

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher required.
• 18 months CT experience required.
• ARRT CT certification.
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• Oregon permit-to-practice required.
• Willingness to float across hospital locations.
• Cannot hold concurrent position at Trinity Health facility.

Responsibilities

• Review physician orders and exam reason; prepare patient and perform CT imaging.
• Collaborate with CT leadership and Radiologist to produce diagnostic images per protocols.
• Operate imaging equipment to obtain designated body part images with ALARA principles.
• Coordinate with unit staff and FirstChoice colleagues to deliver evidence-based care.

What You Will Do

• FirstChoice CT Techs are utilized to fill short and long-term assignments throughout the health system, and we need you to be a part of this innovative program!

Responsibilities

• The CT Technologist is responsible for reviewing the Physician Order and reason for exam, preparing the patient, positioning, and performing CT imaging of patients.
• The CT Technologist works closely with CT leadership and the Radiologist to produce the most diagnostic images possible in accordance with the department protocols.
• Operates diagnostic imaging equipment to obtain images of the designated body portions for interpretation by physicians, with attention to As Low As Reasonably Achievable (ALARA) techniques.
• Collaborate with members of assigned unit as well as FirstChoice colleagues to deliver evidenced based care within a healing culture for patients as well as families.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher required.
• Eighteen (18) months of CT experience required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program and registered as a CT by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. (Note: American Heart Association certifications only accepted.)
• Valid State Of Oregon permit-to-practice required.
• Willingness to float throughout the hospital and/or throughout multiple hospital locations.
• Cannot hold a concurrent position at a Trinity Health facility.
