TalentBurst is seeking a Surgical Technician for an onsite CST L&D travel assignment in Thornton, CO. The role requires a minimum of 6 months CST L&D experience, NBSTA and DORA certifications, and preferably LDRP or postpartum experience.

The position runs for 13 weeks with night shifts and a 12-hour schedule. Responsibilities include assisting in labor and delivery procedures, working within a 60-person team, and adhering to unit guidelines.

General Information

Tell us about the unit(s):

• Number of Beds -14 LDRPs and 2 ORs


• Number of Staff – 60


• Day Shift – (example 1 charge, 3 RN, 2 CNA, and 1-3 sitters) 1 charge RN, 2-3 LD RNs and 2-3 PP RNs


• Night Shift – same as day shift


• Patient Ratios – 1:1 to 1:2 max for LD and 3:1 for PP per AWHONN guidelines


• Type of equipment – Beacon


• EMR –CPN and Meditech

Typical hiring profile

• Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs , sitters , BLS and CST


• : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.


• Minimum 6 months current CST L&D experience


• NBSTA and DORA Certifications must be active


• Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
