Job summary

UWM is seeking a Travel Coordinator to arrange travel for internal and external clients, balancing schedules and costs while maintaining travel records. You will support the Vendor Relations team with various administrative tasks on site at our Pontiac, MI location.

The role requires strong customer service, organizational and communication skills, and familiarity with Microsoft Office; Concur Travel Software experience is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with Concur Travel Software preferred.
• Background in Travel Coordination and Hospitality Management preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills - in person and over the phone.
• High school diploma is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Team oriented environment; works well with others.
• Travel agency experience preferred but not required.
• Onsite attendance is required.

The Travel Coordinator will arrange travel for internal and external business clients by determining their travel requirements, while considering applicable schedules and costs. He/she will also be responsible for maintaining business travel records and will be expected to perform various administrative functions for the Vendor Relations team.
