About the Role:

JourneysbyJanate is growing and seeking motivated, detail-oriented individuals who are passionate about travel and customer service. As an Independent Travel Advisor, you’ll help clients plan personalized vacations while building a flexible career as a travel professional.

This is a commission-only position. No prior experience is required—comprehensive onboarding and ongoing training are provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Consult with clients to assess their travel needs, preferences, and budget
• Research and book travel services, including flights, accommodations, cruises, car rentals, and excursions
• Create customized itineraries, provide quotes, and manage bookings and invoices
• Stay current with travel trends, destination updates, and vendor promotions
• Communicate professionally with clients, suppliers, and team members
• Attend training sessions (live or recorded) as needed

Qualifications:

• Must be 18+ and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Proficient in English (Spanish is a plus)
• Access to a computer, smartphone, and reliable internet connection
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
• Willing to complete training and ongoing development

This is an independent contractor (1099) role. Compensation is based solely on commissions earned from client bookings and also earn commission from your own bookings.
