Job summary

AAA Travel Consultants help members plan and book travel that spans cruises, tours, air, hotel, and car arrangements. They share firsthand knowledge to tailor itineraries and build lasting relationships with members, driving referrals and repeat business.

Traiblazers in service excellence, AAA Travel Consultants are expected to meet sales goals, maintain high service standards, and participate in training to grow in leadership roles within The Auto Club University.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma is required; college degree preferred.
• Background check and urine drug screening required.
• At least 2 years in retail sales, banking, or leisure travel agency in a goal-oriented environment.
• Strong sales, customer service, and multi-tasking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Sell international and domestic travel packages including cruises, land packages, air, car, and hotel.
• Share knowledge from personal experiences and study trips.
• Develop long-standing relationships with AAA members and build referral business.
• Make tailored recommendations to meet member expectations and enhance the trip experience.
• Cross-sell products such as AAA Member Rewards Credit Card and ID theft referrals.
• Assist members with travel planning and provide high-quality service.
