Actalent is seeking a Travel Project Manager to oversee large, multi‑million‑dollar construction projects from pre‑construction through closeout in Charleston, SC. The role emphasizes schedule, budget, quality, and safety, with frequent travel and collaboration across field teams, general contractors, subcontractors, and owners.

You will lead and mentor project engineers and assistants, manage submittals and change orders, and ensure on-target delivery within cost constraints.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree or 10+ years of construction experience.
• Degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or similar preferred.
• Experience with Bluebeam software.
• Experience with Procore or similar construction management platforms.
• Experience managing CAD, fabrication, and field labor resources.
• Experience mentoring estimating staff on technical PM topics.
• Demonstrated ability to enforce safety procedures on job sites.

Mansioni

• Lead and consult with field project managers, GCs, subcontractors, and owners to drive project outcomes and maintain relationships.
• Own and be accountable for all projects from pre-construction through completion.
• Develop and maintain detailed construction project schedules.
• Manage budgets for labor, materials, and subcontractors within budgetary limits.
• Review and approve supplier and subcontractor invoices; monitor cash flow and cost reporting.
• Coordinate change orders and RFIs; drive procurement and submittals.
• Provide leadership to PEs and APMs; mentor and guide project staff.
• Ensure safety culture and compliance across all sites.
