Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a dedicated nursing assistant for travel contracts up to 13 weeks to provide routine nursing care under the direction of charge nurses and supervisors, ensuring residents receive safe, compassionate, and high-quality care in a variety of settings.

The position requires an active CNA license, a minimum of six months of experience (or clinical experience during training), strong English communication, patience, emotional stability, and the ability to work harmoniously

Qualifications

• Licensed CNA with active certification.
• At least 6 months experience as a CNA or clinical experience during training.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing care following facility policies and procedures and safety rules.
• Make resident rounds at shift start and every two hours to administer care.
• Verify resident identity before providing care or meals.
• Report missing ID bands to admission coordinator immediately.
• Make beds, clean bedside tables and overbed surfaces.
• Ensure water pitchers are cleaned, filled and within resident reach.
• Other related duties as assigned by Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, or Administrator.
