Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a Registered Nurse for travel assignments up to 13 weeks in California. You will provide comprehensive resident care, develop and update care plans, and collaborate with physicians and therapists to ensure quality outcomes.

The role requires an active CA RN license, the ability to work flexible hours, and experience in SNF/LTC or PCC systems is preferred. You will document medications and supervise care delivery in a safe environment.

Qualifications

• Active California RN license.
• Prior RN experience in a nursing community.
• Desire to care for residents with integrity.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• SNF/LTC experience preferred.
• PCC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures proper resident care is maintained in a clean and safe environment.
• Develop and ensure the nursing care plan and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants
• M akes nursing diagnoses, which serve as the basis for the strategy of care
• Collaborates with the resident, members of the healthcare team
• Records the administration of medication
• Monitor assigned staff to ensure established safety regulations are followed and that all tasks are performed following all state and government regulations and safety procedures as outlined by the facility
• Follows procedures related to the use of nursing equipment and supplies
• Performs other duties as directed
