Job summary

Travel CNA – Crescent City, CA is currently open for experienced CNAs for a travel assignment in California. This position offers 8-hour shifts, weekly direct deposit, and potential for extension or permanent placement with competitive travel pay.

Active California CNA license (hard copy), 1 year of CNA experience, and BLS are required. Reliable transportation, ability to pass background checks, and vaccination status are needed.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted California CNA license (hard copy required).
• Minimum 1 year of CNA experience (hard copy license is required).
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association required).
• Valid Driver’s License or Passport.
• Strong patient care, observation, and documentation skills.
• Must not require time off in the first 6 months of the contract.
• Able to undergo and pass a background check and drug screen.
• Must have reliable transportation to drive to work.
• Up-to-date vaccinations or documentation; booster if needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including bathing, grooming, feeding, mobility assistance, and hygiene support.
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and overall condition.
• Report changes in patient status promptly to nursing staff or supervisors.
• Assist with patient comfort, safety, and well-being.
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Follow facility policies, infection control standards, and HIPAA regulations.
• Weekly pay via direct deposit.
• No rotating schedule, set shift and 5 consecutive days.
