Job summary

Good Samaritan in Lakota, ND is seeking a Certified Medication Assistant (CMA) with a local traveler assignment. The role requires visiting multiple facilities within a 75‑mile radius, supporting nursing staff, and providing resident-centered care under a charge nurse supervision.

Expect a PRN schedule with travel to locations around Lakota. Compensation includes base hourly pay plus premium adjustments for evenings, nights, and weekends; minimum 30 hours per month with at least one weekend

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• Annual competency testing and continuing education requirements; state CE requirements apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Administer prescribed medications as delegated by a licensed nurse.
• Document care, med administration, behavior, activity and dietary outcomes.
• Assist with transfers, mobility, meals, and daily living activities.
