Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for travel assignments in Thornton, CO. You will provide direct patient care under supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse and perform routine nursing tasks.

Applicants should have CNA certification, CPR, and at least one year of experience; company offers competitive weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package, including health and retirement benefits.

Qualifications

One year experience as a nursing assistant preferred.
Certification as a Nursing Assistant per client/state requirements.
Knowledge of medical terminology and knowledge of clerical functions.
Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
Current CPR if applicable.
TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

The CNA performs direct patient care under the direct supervision of a RN or LPN/LVN or other licensed medical professional.
The CNA performs a variety of individualized patient care activities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comforts of patients.
