Job summary

Heartline Staffing is seeking experienced Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for a 26-week travel assignment in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania. You will provide direct care to adults with intellectual disabilities and behavioral health needs in an Intermediate Care Facility, following individualized care plans and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

The position offers evenings or nights, 40 hours weekly, paid four-week orientation, and a gross weekly pay of $1,115 plus a travel stipend.

Responsibilities

Provide direct resident care within the CNA scope of practice.
Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and personal hygiene.
Support mobility, positioning, transfers and ambulation.
Assist with meals, hydration and activities of daily living.
Observe residents and report changes to nursing staff.
Provide behavioral support per care plans and facility procedures.
Maintain resident dignity, privacy, and safety.
Follow infection prevention and facility procedures.
Complete required resident care documentation.
Collaborate with RNs, LPNs, CNAs and interdisciplinary team.

Heartline Staffing is recruiting experienced Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for a 26-week travel healthcare assignment in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania.

This assignment supports adults with intellectual disabilities and behavioral health needs in a Pennsylvania state-operated Intermediate Care Facility.

We are seeking dependable, compassionate CNAs with at least six months of professional CNA experience who are comfortable providing direct care in a structured environment supporting individuals with complex care needs and challenging behaviors.

The assignment includes a paid four-week orientation to help prepare CNAs before working independently.

TRAVEL ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT:

Your permanent tax-home address must be more than 50 miles from the assignment facility in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania, under Heartline Staffing's travel assignment policy.

Tax-free stipend eligibility is subject to applicable tax-home and duplicate-expense requirements. Meeting the 50-mile requirement alone does not guarantee tax-free stipend eligibility.

AVAILABLE SHIFTS

Evening Shift: 2:00 PM–10:30 PM
Night Shift: 10:15 PM–6:45 AM
Orientation: Paid Monday–Friday orientation for four weeks

DAY SHIFT IS NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE FOR THIS TRAVEL REQUISITION.

Applicants must be available to complete the required orientation and commit to their assigned evening or night schedule throughout the 26-week contract.

THE ASSIGNMENT

Provide direct care and daily living support to adults ranging in age from 23 to 95 with intellectual disabilities and behavioral health needs.

The facility supports approximately 250 adult residents and provides structured healthcare services through an interdisciplinary team of Licensed Practical Nurses, Registered Nurses, CNAs, and other healthcare professionals.

This assignment requires CNAs who can remain professional, patient, adaptable, and compassionate while caring for residents who may display challenging behaviors.

Successful CNAs must be comfortable following individualized care plans, maintaining resident safety, and working collaboratively with the healthcare team.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

IMPORTANT CREDENTIALING INFORMATION

Applicants must have active Pennsylvania CNA certification, at least six months of professional CNA experience, and current American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.

Immunization documentation will be required as part of the onboarding process. Flu and COVID-19 vaccination or declination status will be reviewed during screening and is not an automatic exclusion.

Our recruiting team will explain the remaining documentation and clearance requirements during the screening and onboarding process.
