Job summary

Twenty-Nine Palms Band Of Mission Indians in Coachella, CA is seeking a Part Time Travel Center Maintenance Worker to keep the travel center store in good, safe, and clean condition while performing routine maintenance and minor repairs on facilities and equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or GED) preferred.
• Previous travel center maintenance experience preferred.
• Able to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues.
• Experience in maintenance or repair work.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
• Effective communication skills.
• Knowledge of maintenance related to travel centers.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service to guests and employees by exceeding our mission statement.
• Operate the travel center facilities, including general maintenance and minor repairs.
• Perform regular housekeeping and maintenance tasks to keep areas clean and safe.
• Maintain inventory levels for maintenance supplies and coordinate with vendors as needed.
• Perform routine safety inspections and adhere to safety guidelines and regulations.
• Resolve maintenance issues promptly to minimize impact on operations.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable internal control standards.
