Superior Environmental Solutions (SES) in Decatur, AL is seeking a safety-focused CDL Driver / Equipment Operator to join our team. This full-time role involves operating Roll-Off, Flat Bed, Vacuum, and Service trucks, performing pre/post trip inspections, and supporting field technicians on site.

The position requires a Class A or B CDL with Tanker endorsements, the ability to travel overnight, and strong safety awareness.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain a Class A or B CDL with Tanker Endorsement
• Experience driving a manual 10-speed transmission or higher
• Maintain insurability under the company’s insurance plan
• Understand Elevated/Confined Space entry and Lock-Out Tag-Out (SES training)
• English language proficiency to understand safety instructions
• Able to pass pre-employment and post-accident drug and background checks
• Willing to travel overnight for assignments
• Able to perform Technician 1 within 30 days and Technician 2/3 within one year
• Must meet essential physical requirements: lift >40 lbs, climb ladders, work in extreme conditions
• Able to wear PPE including respirators, safety glasses, steel-toe shoes
• Ability to work extended hours and variable shifts

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate all CDL equipment safely (Roll-Off, Flat Bed, Vacuum, Service Trucks) and perform pre/post trip inspections
• Document all company, federal, state, and customer paperwork clearly
• Operate high-pressure water-blaster and vacuum equipment as required
• Perform Field Technician duties (shoveling, tank cleaning)
• Communicate effectively with on-site customer representatives
• Lead and direct subordinate personnel to perform duties safely and efficiently
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform minor repairs as needed
• Maintain equipment and company property in proper condition
• Understand and work in elevated or confined spaces with safety training (training provided)
