Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a CCU Registered Nurse for a 12-week assignment in Lewiston, Maine. You will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced coronary care unit, monitor patients, and collaborate with the care team.

Shifts are days, with competitive weekly pay and dedicated career specialists to support your career journey. The role requires an active state RN license, BLS and ACLS on hire, and CCU experience.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license/certification required.
• BLS (AHA) certification required on hire.
• ACLS (AHA) certification required on hire.
• Minimum 1 year staff nurse experience in acute care; CCU preferred.
• BVP certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Monitors quality of care, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
• Implements immediate care plan changes to promote patient safety.
• Conducts patient and family rounding to enhance the patient experience.
• Serves as a resource for patients, families, and staff.
• Provides direct patient care as needed to maintain safe staffing ratios.
• Supports daily unit operations and communicates patient care or safety concerns.
• Manages staffing, scheduling, and assignments.
• Supervises, coaches, and evaluates staff; assists with performance management.
• Ensures adequate supplies, equipment functionality, and inventory levels.
• Coordinates with departments to support efficient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Oversees nursing staff and patient care during assigned shift.

Registered Nurse license (state)
