Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a Travel Cath Lab Tech for a 13-week assignment in Rapid City, SD. The role involves assisting in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in the cath lab, patient preparation, and equipment operation.

Requirements include one year of Cath Lab experience, BLS, ACLS, and ARRT/RCIS/RCES certifications. A Radiologic Technologist license is preferred. Travel benefits and competitive pay are offered.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, stent placement and other procedures.
• Pass catheters, wires, balloons, and stents; operate fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring equipment.
• Operate imaging equipment and maintain sterile technique during procedures.
• Scrub in and assist with sterile field setup according to infection control protocols.
• Document patient records, imaging data, and equipment logs; manage supplies and inventory.
