Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Pensacola, Florida. The role involves scrub, monitor, and assist during cardiac catheterization and related procedures, with 40 hours per week on a 10-hour day shift.

The ideal candidate has ARRT(R) certification (CI preferred or RCIS), BLS and ACLS, and state licensure where required, with at least 1 year of Cath Lab experience. Travel benefits and stipends apply as part of TotalMed Allied staffing.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in cath lab or radiology.
• Required ARRT (R) – CI preferred or CCI-RCIS where required.
• BLS, ACLS certifications.
• State licensing as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Cardiac Lab rooms and ensure stock and sterilization.
• Prepare patients and equipment for procedures and calibrate equipment.
• Operate and QC lab equipment and assist physicians during procedures.
• Scrub in during procedures and assist with catheter manipulation.
• Record hemodynamic and imaging data during procedures.
• Monitor patient hemodynamics throughout procedures.
• Provide life-saving support including defibrillation and CPR as needed.
