Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Charleston, West Virginia. The role involves preparing patients and equipment for diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, assisting physicians, and ensuring patient safety in a high‑pressure environment.

The job requires 1 year of recent Cath Lab experience, current BLS and ACLS, and ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification, with preferred radiologic licensure and PALS/ENPC where applicable.

Qualifications

• Required: 1 year recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
• ARRT, RCES or RCIS certification
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification
• Preferred: Radiologic Technologist license in state regulations
• PALS or ENPC certifications may be required

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents
• Operate fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring equipment
• Scrub in and assist with sterile field setup
• Perform sheath removal and hemostasis as directed
• Maintain patient records, imaging data, and equipment logs
• Assist with inventory management and supplies
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and dosimetry requirements
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
• Perform other duties as assigned
