Job summary

Med Ninjas is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel assignment in Hackensack, New Jersey. The role requires a minimum of 3 years of recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience and strong proficiency with invasive cardiac procedures.

Responsibilities include preparing procedure rooms, assisting with diagnostic and interventional procedures, and maintaining hemodynamic equipment and CVIS. On-call rotation and 10-hour shifts are part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience.
• Strong experience with invasive cardiac procedures.
• Experience with Impella and IABP.

Responsibilities

• Prepare procedure rooms, sterile trays, and specialized equipment for cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral procedures.
• Set up, calibrate, and monitor hemodynamic equipment.
• Obtain, calculate, and analyze hemodynamic data, including cardiac output and oximetry readings.
• Maintain CVIS and adhere to radiation safety protocols.
• Participate in the department's on-call rotation.
