Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Rahway, NJ.

The role involves preparing patients and equipment, assisting during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, and ensuring safety and compliance. A valid BLS, ACLS, and ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification are required, with preferred radiologic licensure.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Cath Lab Tech experience.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ARRT, RCIS, or RCIS certification.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Pass catheters, wires, balloons, and stents; operate fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring equipment.
• Scrub in and maintain sterile field; assist with equipment setup and infection control.
• Document patient records, imaging data, and equipment logs; manage supplies.
• Adhere to radiation safety and hospital policies; ensure regulatory compliance.
